1967 MGB GT – Tartan Red, Supercharged, Overdrive
Owned and carefully maintained by an English Jaguar mechanic for approximately 26 years. An original California and exceptionally solid, this MGB GT has been garaged its entire life. A cosmetic restoration was completed shortly after his purchase, and the car remains in excellent condition throughout.
Body & Interior
• Paint/Body: Full professional respray in the original Tartan Red. The body is laser-straight and rust-free.
• Interior: Black leather upholstery with red piping, new carpet, and door panels. Features a leather-wrapped, original-style banjo steering wheel.
• Trim/Wheels: Five new 15″ center-lock Minilite-style wheels (including spare). Grill and side trim replaced. Front and rear window trim included.
Mechanical & Upgrades
• Engine & Drivetrain: Moss Motors supercharger with boost gauge, rebuilt early 3-synchro overdrive transmission (from Moss Motors).
• Suspension & Brakes: Fully rebuilt suspension and steering system; all brakes rebuilt.
• Performance Enhancements: Remote brake booster, extended 16-gallon fuel tank, new bottom-end bearings (less than 1,000 miles ago), aluminum radiator, new oil cooler and hoses, new water pump, new steering rack, high-torque starter, and electronic ignition.
• Tires: Proper Michelin XZX 165SR15 tires installed in 2023.
