2011 Lotus Elise SC — Storm Titanium / Cream | 1 of 4 | Final U.S. Model Year | Factory Supercharged | 17,230 Miles

The rarest specification of the rarest U.S. Elise — a fully optioned, never-tracked, adult-owned example of one of the most significant modern Lotus models ever offered in America. The last Lotus Elise the American market ever received, in the only Storm Titanium / Cream combination ever produced. Factory hardtop included. Documented, Lotus-certified mechanic maintained, never tracked, and ready to be driven or collected.

To understand what makes this particular Elise SC significant, some context is worth establishing. The 2011 model year was the final year Lotus offered the Elise in the United States — a result of increasingly stringent federal safety and emissions regulations that made continued U.S. homologation economically unviable. Only 51 Elise SC examples were produced for the U.S. market in 2011, making every one of them a last-of-breed collectible by definition. But within that already small number, this car occupies a position that is effectively irreplaceable.

Of those 51 cars, only 4 were finished in Storm Titanium. Of those 4 Storm Titanium cars, this is the only one specified with the Cream (Magnolia) interior. The other three were delivered with black interiors. This is, by factory production records, a 1-of-1 color combination — and it comes with a Certificate of Provenance and the original window sticker to document exactly that.

The window sticker confirms the car was originally delivered to Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo in Portland, Oregon — one of the most respected Lotus dealers in the country at the time — assembled at Lotus’s factory in Norwich, Norfolk, UK, with a VIN of SCCLHCZC1BHA11938. It was ordered as a fully-loaded demonstrator, with a total sticker price of $63,870, reflecting an original base price of $54,990 and $8,755 in factory options. That combination of packages is essentially impossible to replicate today.

The Elise SC

The Lotus Elise SC (Supercharged) represented the definitive expression of the S3 Elise platform for road use. The supercharged 1.8-liter 16-valve DOHC four-cylinder engine — mid-mounted in the Lotus-designed epoxy-bonded lightweight aluminum chassis — produces 218 bhp with multipoint fuel injection and electronic ignition, driving through a Synchromesh 6-speed transaxle with lockout reverse gear. In a car of the Elise’s weight, that powertrain produces a driving experience that costs multiples more to replicate in any other package.

The supercharged delivery is characteristically different from the naturally aspirated Elise: where the standard car rewards high-revving commitment, the SC pulls with authority from lower in the rev range, making it more versatile on public roads while losing none of the chassis precision that defines the Elise experience. The 2011 S3 refinements — revised suspension geometry, updated interior materials, and detail improvements throughout — make this the most complete and polished iteration of the Elise ever offered in America.

The window sticker confirms the full factory suspension specification: four-wheel independent suspension with unequal length wishbones, Bilstein mono-tube gas dampers, Eibach coaxial coil springs, front anti-sway bar, power-assisted four-wheel ventilated and cross-drilled brakes, and Lotus/AP Racing and Brembo calipers — with 16″ front and 17″ rear alloy wheels wearing Yokohama AD07 high performance tires as standard.

Specification & Options

This car was ordered with an exceptional combination of packages, and it is worth detailing what each one contributes:

The window sticker confirms the following factory options, totaling $8,755:

Touring Pack — $1,600: Leather-trimmed seats and leather door panel inserts, additional sound insulation, cup holder, and interior storage net.

Sport Pack — $2,600: Bilstein sport dampers (10% firmer than standard), forged aluminum wheels, and Sport ProBax seats with orthopedically designed backrest.

Black Pack — $495: Black-finished wheels, black diffuser panel, and black undertray panels and hardware — a visually cohesive treatment that works particularly well against the Storm Titanium body color.

Hard Top — $1,475: The factory matching hardtop is included, stored in its original factory bag. This is not an aftermarket piece — it is the genuine Lotus factory hardtop, color-matched to the Storm Titanium body, adding all-weather versatility and a clean coupe aesthetic.

Metallic Paint — $590: The Storm Titanium metallic finish — one of the most complex and distinctive colors in the Lotus palette.

Star Shield — $995: Lotus’s factory clear paint protection film, fitted to the high-impact areas, preserving the body finish from stone chips and road debris.

Additional Equipment

Beyond the factory packages, this car carries a thoughtful selection of additional equipment. The Lotus Cup Exhaust — the factory performance exhaust option — is fitted, with the original exhaust retained and included. The Lotus Cup Airbox Extension with a larger K&N filter improves induction breathing. The Factory Hardtop in its original factory bag is included.

The BOE Toe Links are an extremely well-regarded suspension upgrade in the Elise community, replacing the factory adjustable toe links with stronger, more precise units that improve rear-end response and eliminate a known weak point. The MWR Lift Point Kit provides proper, safe jacking and lift points.

The Factory Star Shield — Lotus’s clear paint protection film — is fitted to the high-impact areas, preserving the body finish from stone chips and road debris.

Condition & History

17,230 miles from new. Never tracked. Adult-owned for the last eight years. Maintained exclusively with Motul oils and fluids by a Lotus-certified mechanic throughout its life —  someone with factory training and specific knowledge of what these cars require. Properly maintained and mechanically excellent in every respect.

Body and paint are clean with no stories — no accidents, no paintwork, nothing to disclose. The Factory Star Shield has done its job protecting the high-impact areas, and the overall presentation reflects a car that has been kept in Southern California and properly garaged rather than used and neglected. The Magnolia interior is in excellent condition throughout, with the leather surfaces, carpets, and trim all presenting as they should on a low-mileage, carefully owned example.

Storm Titanium is one of the most distinctive and appealing colors in the Lotus palette —  pairs exceptionally well with the Cream interior.

Clean title in hand. Located in Southern California.
