This 1976 Triumph TR6 was originally sold new on June 10, 1976 by Foreign Imports in Manassas, Virginia, with an original total cash price of $6,850.73, as documented on the original sales invoice, which lists the factory options and accompanies the car.
A comprehensive refurbishment has been carried out, and the car is now finished in its factory shade of Mallard Green (Code 106) over parchment leather upholstery with green piping. Power comes from the 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car is offered with spare parts, a tool roll, service manuals, original sales documentation, and a clean title.
The car was repainted in 2004 in its original Mallard Green. At that time, the frame was reportedly sandblasted and the chrome components re-plated. Exterior details include a chrome luggage rack on the rear decklid, front air dam, rubber bumper overriders, Union Jack TR6 decals on the rear quarter panels, a bullet-style driver’s side mirror, and a powered antenna. The black soft top is present, though it has one broken snap fastener as shown in the image gallery.
The car rides on 15″ Panasport alloy wheels mounted with 205/65 Pirelli P6 tires. Stainless-steel brake lines have been installed, and braking is handled by front disc and rear drum brakes.
The interior has been reupholstered in parchment leather with green piping, complemented by matching door panels and green carpeting. Additional amenities include a Pioneer stereo, wood-veneer dash panel with locking glove compartment, Coco floor mats, and a fire extinguisher mounted between the seats. A leather-wrapped Moto-Lita steering wheel sits ahead of a 140-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and a five-digit odometer currently showing approximately 48,000 miles, around 4,000 of which were added by the previous owner.
Under the hood, the 2.5-liter inline-six has been upgraded with dual Weber carburetors, stainless-steel fuel lines, PerTronix electronic ignition, stainless-steel headers, and a dual exhaust system. The wiring harness was replaced during the refurbishment, further supporting reliability and drivability.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through the four-speed manual transmission, completing a well-sorted and tastefully upgraded TR6 that blends originality with thoughtful performance enhancements.
This Triumph is located at our location in Fontana, California and is sold with a clean title.
