1970 MGB GT – Overdrive | Rust-Free & Solid Project
This 1970 MGB GT is a super-solid, rust-free example and an ideal foundation for restoration. It is equipped with the desirable early black label overdrive transmission, and remains very complete.
According to the previous owner, the car was recently run using an external fuel source feeding directly into the carburetors. We hooked up a battery and turned the engine over, but did not get it to run. The body and undercarriage are exceptionally sound with no rust issues anywhere, making this an excellent starting point for a full rebuild or recommissioning.
A rare opportunity to begin a project with such a clean, rust-free shell and the added value of factory overdrive already in place.
This vehicle is exempt from California smog certification requirements and includes a clean title.
